Hiding Wall Posts In Facebook

You can decide what you want to post on your wall, be it your most intimate secret, complaints about work or even philosophical musings. However, you can’t control what your friends want to post on your wall.
If you have some of these people on your list, you would be glad to know that you can customize who can see what others post on your wall.

1.Go to your privacy settings page

2.Click on ‘Edit Settings’ beside ‘Timeline and Tagging’.

There are two ways you can configure your wall posts settings.

1.To restrict anyone but yourself from posting anything on your wall. For this, you should look beside  ‘Who can post on your timeline’ and choose either ‘Friends’ or ‘No One’.

2.‘Who can see what othres post on your timeline’, is pretty self-explanatory as well, and it affords for greater depth of customization.

Huh, I didn’t know that you can’t control what others see when someone posts on my wall, but I suppose that makes sense. I wonder if the settings I have on my Facebook account show up on my Facebook app on my Hopper whole-home DVR. I’m going to test it when I get home, only because I use the app so often ever since a Dish co-worker told me the long awaited app was here finally. I find it easier to see what I’m doing on my TV than my iPhone, (only because I don’t wear my glasses often enough).
