If you have a USB printer,webcam, scanner or external hard disk or other devices that you would like to be able to share,then you can use this software which will enable you to share your USB devices through your network
This is how it works :
First, Install USB Network Gate a software provided at Share USB over Network. After that, launch it. You should be redirected a screen where can select the USB you want to share. You then press share device. It is that easy.
Redirect USB over network
Share USB over IP (LAN or Internet) and use it from a remote location. You can share various devices, including as MFD, scanners, webcams, etc. These USB devices will be accessible at a remote computer as if they were connected to it directly.
Share USB devices over RDP
USB Network Gate solves the problem of accessing USB devices over RDP with flying colors. Now you can use local USB devices from a remote desktop session as if they were connected to a remote computer directly.
USB passthrough for Virtual Machines
USB Network Gate (former USB to Ethernet Connector) establishes a passthrough of USB devices from the host system to guest OS on a virtual machine. As a result you can easily use USB devices on a virtual machine as if they were connected to it directly. USB Network Gate supports VMware ESX/ESXi, Citrix XenDesktop, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
